As you persuaded us to keep the fruits safe in our granaries until our children are filled, until the decaprotists of each public service are fulfilled, according to this, we agree, swearing to observe the fortune of our lords Diocletian and Maximian, and not to allow anyone to touch it until each one fulfills the desired measure towards the decaprotists of the places, of the measurements being made, so that no blame may follow, or we may be liable to the oath. English Translation

To Claudius Dioscurides, also called Chaireas,
former strategos of Diopolis, strategos of Oxyrhynchus,
from Aurelii Papontos, son of Theon,
and Horus, son of Archelaus,
both komarchs (village heads) of the village of Ision Panga, in the current
8th and 7th years. Since you have persuaded us
to keep safely the crops
in the threshing floors in our own fields
until the decaprotoi (tax collectors) are fully paid
for each person's public dues,
we accordingly agree, swearing
by the fortune of our lords Diocletian
and Maximian, the Augusti,
to guard and allow no one to touch
the crops until each has fully paid
the measure owed
to the decaprotoi of the districts,
the measurements being made
so that no complaint may follow,
or else we shall be liable
to the oath.
In the 8th and 7th years of our lords
