English Translation

Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus, Greatest Parthicus, Britannicus, Greatest Germanicus, Greatest Pious Augustus, says:
If a councilor strikes or insults the [prytanis or councilor] in the council meetings(?), the councilor shall be expelled from the council and shall be relegated to a dishonorable place.
This was publicly displayed in Babylon(?) under the public stoa during the magistracy of Aurelius Alexandros [...] from the city of Heliopolis.
