"Of Zeus, Zoe, greetings. I arranged for you to come within the month of Tybi, and you did not come. But as you were going out, you gave me a word of the things you had sent out through yourself. You write that you have sent out jars to the gardeners and two calves which you have sacrificed, and you sent out to the same ones that neither one received any honor as you took. Other kinds are sought in the estate, of which you will give the account in the ledger. Know, then, that if you do not quickly complete everything and you do not send the things sought by you, I hold your guarantor until you complete for me the honor of the things sought. I wish you to be strong. Zoe, from Dio, friend."

Dios to Zoilos, greetings.
You arranged with me to come within the month of Tybi, but you did not come.
When you left, you gave me an account of the written record of what you yourself had expended.
You write that you have expended thirty-three jars for the gardeners and two calves which you sacrificed,
and you expended these things for the same people, none of whom has acknowledged to me that they received payment from you.
Other items are being sought on the estate, for which you will give an account at the accounting office.
Know that if you do not quickly complete everything and deliver the items demanded of you,
I will hold your guarantor until you pay me the value of the items sought.
I wish you good health.
To Zoilos from Dios, friend.
