(ἔτους) Τῦβι.
I have rented from Ptolemy, who is also of the Astoparisians and Ammonius, and of Heracleus, from the agricultural lands around the Oasis that belong to Claudia Isidora, which they have in this lease, and I have made the sowing for the current year of the declared lands, having made and assisted the local farmers with the seeds and the expenses, watching over my works, Hermogenes son of Petenefot and Isidorus, whom I have benefited according to human service to the affairs, having provided them with what is necessary, they brought in return for which they gave two hundred drachmas of other annual contributions. Of one of them, Isidorus, who has been used under the name, having embraced their choice and wishing neither to have nor to provide matters, I deemed it worthy to receive from them what they had from me as a necessity and other expenses, having been accounted with them between us and certain worthy men, having been made by substitution upon the general of this law, being in three talents and drachmas. Of these, being ungrateful and not even towards the ones who responded, I offer against their choice other annual drachmas.

"[I leased from Ptol(?)]emaios also called Astoparison and Ammonios also called Herakleios, [from grain-producing lands(?)] around the Oasis belonging to Claudia Isidora, [(arouras?) ... which they hold in] lease, and having made the sowing for the current year of the [mentioned lands] and having assisted the local farmers with seeds and expenses, Hermogenes son of Petenephotes and [Isidoros ...], whom I had humanely assisted in the management of affairs, providing them with necessities, offered through the bid they submitted another annual sum of two hundred drachmas. One of them, Isidoros, having used a fictitious name [...], whose bid I accepted, wishing neither to have nor to cause trouble, I demanded from them repayment of the advance they had from me and other expenses, having settled accounts with them in the presence of ourselves and certain notable men, through an exchange made before the strategos of the nome, amounting to three talents and 400 drachmas. But since they acted ungratefully towards me and did not even appear before the tribunal, I offer against their bid another annual sum of 1552 drachmas, [for the completion of the annual] one talent and 300 drachmas, apart from the fixed payments declared through the same bid and the terms and conditions maintained through the same bid. Present, I, Aurelius Sarapodoros, guarantee the aforementioned Heron for the payment of taxes and the supervision of the works, and upon being questioned, we agreed. The acceptance is valid. Year 5, Tybi 30."
