[I acknowledge] that I have ceded from now and forever,
from the time it belonged to me by right of purchase,
concerning the same village Seryphis, from the [---] allotment,
a two-thirds share of one aroura of grain-producing land
in reeds, after I sold it to the sons of Aurelius Sotion,
former gymnasiarch of the same city, and [---] Stephanos,
former gymnasiarch of the same city, the remaining third part,
previously belonging to Catillianus also called Varus,
whose neighbors are: south [---], north a plot of land,
east private property of others, west your ceded property.
I have received from you immediately by hand the agreed-upon
price for the cession of this third part, four hundred drachmas
of silver imperial coinage, and I will guarantee to you and your descendants
and those who will acquire it from you the secure possession
of this third part of the aroura from my name and from anyone
claiming through my name, sufficient for you being the guarantee
from my predecessor Catillianus also called Varus.
I will also provide you with exemption from all public taxes
and assessments up to the past 6th year and including that year,
since from the current 1st year onward the obligations belong to you,
the transferee. This cession, written in duplicate, is valid,
and whenever you wish, you may register it officially without
needing my further consent, as I approve your future registration.
Asked by you, I have agreed that these things are correct and proper.
