"Orsenouphis and Pekusis, both Petosiris Persians of the lineage of the gods, greetings to you and to Thoenis, the god of the inhabitants of the horsemen. We agree to have with you regarding the city of Oxyrhynchus, of Sarapieus, as it is also recorded through the private table of Heracleides, the honor of thirty measures of solid wheat, which we will also pay to you in the month of Pauni of the current ninth year, a new pure unadulterated solid wheat measure, having established it for our own expenses. If we do not act according to what is written, we will pay you through mutual guarantees the price of each measure, which if it is not paid, will be four thousand bronze drachmas, the transaction being yours from both sides and from wherever you may choose, and from all that we have, just as from a judgment, not having any trust in any way, and those that will be brought by us being void. We will be liable to you both at the aforementioned Sarapieus and at every sanctuary and magistrate and wherever you may fall in general with us. The hand of the lord is being extended everywhere and to everyone who extends it."
