(From) the one who has stolen the holy relics of the church of Aspidā has entered into Kegēthin,
[the village] having these, and the greater of those there does not tolerate nor the holy relics
[to be given(?)] nor to hand over the woman. Therefore, let your
great magnificence be called upon to grant to me and to herself and to present in these things to God
and to command in the first instance
that the holy relics
be returned, if she sees and the woman is to be handed over, let this
be commanded to happen. And let your magnificence grant us henceforth her ascent,
since I do not neglect
because of her such
absence. ☧

From [ . . . ]a, the woman who stole the sacred treasures (relics) of the church of Aspidas entered into Kegethis, the village, having these things. And the chief person there does not consent either to give up the sacred treasures or to hand over the woman. Therefore, may your magnificence be entreated to grant favor to me and to herself, and in these matters to commit herself to God, and to command explicitly that the sacred treasures be returned. And if it seems appropriate also that the woman be handed over, command this to be done. May your magnificence grant us henceforth her return, since I am greatly distressed by her prolonged absence. ☧
