I received the writings from your great and most wise friendship through George, the all-seeing of this letter. He also delivered to us the coins, two thousand sixteen, and we arranged these, eight hundred coins for the completion of the first payment of Oxyrhynchus in the twelfth indiction, and the other eight hundred, as it is said, for the completion of the Canines of the same payment in the twelfth indiction, and I indicated to your great and most wise friendship to know. The two carpets were usually requested, the greatest things granted to me for brevity to do and send to me for the greatest things to thank her. I received through him George the all-seeing and the one sent to me from her, one weight of the shrouds and one of the linen, and in this I thanked her for her choice. † (hand 2) It was written in the month of Athyr in the twelfth indiction of the same.

I have received the writings from your magnificent and most wise friendship through George, her esteemed chartularius. He also delivered to us the coins, two thousand and sixteen, and we have allocated these as follows: one thousand and eight coins for the completion of the first payment of Oxyrhynchus for the twelfth indiction, and the other one thousand and eight, as stated, for the completion of the same twelfth indiction payment of Cynon. And I have indicated this so that your magnificent and most wise friendship may be informed.
Regarding the two carpets, may she kindly, as usual, grant me the greatest favor by quickly preparing and sending them to me, so that I may, as usual, express my greatest gratitude to her. I have also received through the same George, her esteemed representative, the one pair of sheets and one linen cloth sent to me by her, and in this matter I have expressed my gratitude for her goodwill.
