If you were present when the most illustrious governor threatened the generals regarding the collection of the grain, so that the livestock in Arsinoe, working from the other districts, might send as many as possible, they went out to the audacious ones after the governor's orders, to withdraw from the livestock herders.
And since you, the most powerful general, have written to you that no one should withdraw from here before they receive letters from me regarding the request to send the grain's origin and to add that they should be sent to him with safety, those who dare to do such a thing, the need being very pressing, so that even through letters many times they have threatened the governor in general and in person, since indeed, although only a few are here from the law of the donkeys you have, most have withdrawn as the rest have been left here until today.
