Translation into English

Hierax, general of the Oxyrhynchite, to Claudius Serenus, his servant. Of the books given to me by Leonides, the equal of Serenus is being sent to you, so that having received a public physician, you may inspect the indicated dead body and, having handed it over for burial, you may inscribe decisions and call out. (hand 2) I have been informed.
(hand 1) (Year) 23 of Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus Caesar, the lord, of Hathyr.
(hand 3) To Hierax the general, from Leonides, who is also [Serenus], managing the estate of Tauri from Senepht. In the evening of the festival that has passed in Senepht and of the rattlers performing according to custom at the house of Plutio, my son Aristodemus, having wished to look out from the upper room of the same house and to see the rattlers, fell and died. For this reason, handing over the little book, I ask if it seems good to you to send one of your servants to Senepht so that the body of Epaphroditus may receive the necessary wrapping and burial. (Year) 23 of the Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus, the August, of Armenia, Mede, Parthian, Sarmatian, German, the Greatest, Hathyr.

I, Leonides, also known as Serenus, have delivered.
