Tryphon son of Aristandros and Sarapion son of Herodes from the city of Oxyrhynchus rented to Apollonios son of Horus from the village of Senephta, a Persian of the descendants for the sixth year of the reign of the Lord Caesar Hadrian, from the properties belonging to them concerning the same village, from the estate of Dion, ten and a half aruras from the land of the neighboring landowners of the sun-baked Didymus, as recorded, from the north of the same, the river of Seuthus, so that they may harvest the crops for cutting and distribution, the tax of each arura being assessed at thirty-six silver drachmas without any risk, of the public lands towards the lessee, who also has the right to the fruits until he collects the tax. The lease being confirmed, the lessee shall pay the tax to Pauni in the month of the same year, and whatever is owed shall be paid with half a drachma, and the action shall be for the lessee from the same Apollonios and from all the properties belonging to him as it is justly due. The lease is valid. (Year) sixth of the Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus.

Tryphon, son of Aristandros, and Sarapion, son of Herodes, both from the city of Oxyrhynchus, have leased to Apollonios, son of Horos, from the village of Senepta, a Persian of the epigone, for the current sixth year of Emperor Hadrian Caesar the lord, from their property near the same village, from the allotment of Dion, ten and a half arouras of reed-land, whose neighbors are: on the east Didymos, on the south the aforementioned, on the north the same, on the west Seuthes, son of Potamon; for the purpose of cutting reeds and grazing, at a rent of thirty-six silver drachmas per aroura, free from all risk, with the public taxes on the land being the responsibility of the lessor, who shall retain ownership of the produce until he receives the rent. Upon confirmation of the lease, the lessee shall pay the rent in the month Pauni of the same year; and whatever he owes additionally, he shall repay with a penalty of one and a half times the amount. The lessor shall have the right of execution against Apollonios himself and all his property as if by legal judgment. The lease is valid. Year six of Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus, Thoth 25.
(hand 2) I, Sarapion, son of Herodes, have jointly leased the aforementioned ten and a half arouras, without any measurement, at thirty-six silver drachmas per aroura as stated above. The term is the same.
