Diogenes and Dionysius, son of Sarapion of Hermius, the guardian of the house and the courtyard, along with Althaieus, send greetings to Serenus, son of Philiskus, mother of Sarapion, Helen, from the city of Oxyrhynchus. Since I was confirmed by Nemesianus, the general of the law, in the second and twentieth year of the reign of our lord, Emperor Aurelius Commodus Antoninus, in the month of Hadrian, from the unproductive administration, I have recorded the house and courtyard with the necessary documents, which were previously made by Sarapion. I have recorded the amounts of six hundred drachmas and the subsequent amounts, and I have noted these under the royal law of the secretary Pericles, along with the additional amounts in six hundred thirty-seven drachmas, similarly for the interest of the second and twentieth year, thirty-nine drachmas, three half-obols, and for the third and twentieth year, twenty-eight drachmas, two half-obols, making a total of sixty-eight drachmas, three copper coins. I have also recorded the total of the house's valuation, which amounts to six hundred thirty-seven drachmas, similarly for the interest recorded in sixty-eight drachmas, three copper coins, of which the symbols are on my signature of Diogenes and Dionysius. I have given this to you, Serenus, for the purpose of the house being valued by you, and to be recorded in eight hundred drachmas and to be delivered to you from the letter of the most powerful governor, Wessidius, under Hierakos, who was the general in the current twenty-fourth year of Mecheir, thirty thousand drachmas, eight hundred and the subsequent amounts, and the royal amount has been recorded accordingly, which he has transferred to me along with the amounts I have recorded of six hundred drachmas and the remaining drachmas of two hundred, and the additional amounts recorded, I acknowledge according to the address of Epimachus, who was engaged in the sale of the table of Sarapeion in the city of Oxyrhynchus, which I have recorded as it pertains to the valuation and the additional amounts of six hundred thirty-seven drachmas for the interest of sixty-eight drachmas, three copper coins, the amounts for the same being seven hundred five drachmas, three copper coins, and I have no claim against you nor will I make any claim regarding this or any other matter until the present time, and if any inquiry arises regarding this to you or those who will receive from you, I myself will take this up. My father Sarapion, son of Hermius, who is also known as Sosikosmos, and Althaieus, agrees to the matters at hand. The authority is the withdrawal. (Year) 24 of the Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus Augustus.
