To Calpurnius Horion, the most esteemed, the secretary of the council of the illustrious city of Alexandria, from Aurelius Melas, son of Heracleides, of Ammonius, and of Diogenes, mother Thaesios, from the illustrious city of Oxyrhynchus. Having approached and being judged at the crossroads of Myrobalanus and having entered into the provisions for the sacred food under the guard at the house, and in the distinction, I am unable to provide the proofs of my lineage; now necessarily providing the symbol of the judgment and the proofs of the lineage, I present these books and I also demand to participate in the donation of the grain, having been judged in the year according to the esteemed council regarding the equality of those similar to me. It has succeeded.
