To Aurelius Sarapion, Aphynchios from the splendid and most splendid city of Oxyrhynchus, and to his fellow lessees of the fishing rights of the city of Oxyrhynchus, from Aurelius Lucius Lucius from the same city and his associates.
We voluntarily undertake to lease the fishing rights in the waters at the ascent of the gates of Tanyris and Matrinos, so that we ourselves may fish through these gates or allow others to fish... and we will pay as taxes for the gates of Tanyris and Matrinos to you, the lessees, fourteen talents of silver and three thousand drachmas, providing you fishermen and nets... from the fish caught.
