The most illustrious governor Larkios,
having made a memorandum concerning all of Egypt, except for the city of the Oxyrhynchites, has sent to me all those who have any kind of opportunity to bring the grain publicly and to sell it, and that no one should conceal the taxes of the seasons; therefore, I command through you that it must be made known to all the landowners within five days, and that the grain which they have should be registered and then brought into the city to be sold, knowing that if anyone among these should disobey me according to what is deemed by the most illustrious governor, the grain of his will enter the treasury, and he himself will be sent by me to the governor to give an account of the offense. Let the copy of this letter be publicly displayed for the knowledge of all.
