Αὐρήλιοι Παπνοῦθις καὶ Δωρόθεος ἀδελφῶ χαίρειν. μεμαίτρημε καὶ ἐναιβαλόμην παρʼ ὑμῶν ἰς τὼ προκείμενον πλοῖων ὑπὲρ γενήματος ιε ἰνδικτίωνος σίτου καθαροῦ ἀρτάβας τριάκοντα πένται, (γίνονται) (ἀρτάβαι) λεμονᾶς, τ̣ούτων τὰ κούμηλα καὶ τὰ ναῦλα καὶ τὸ σακωφορικὼν πλήρης.

Greetings to Aurelius Papnouthis and Dorotheus, brothers. I have measured and I have been thrown in among you into the present ships concerning the produce of the 15th indiction of clean wheat, thirty-five artabas, (they are) (artabas) of lemons, of these the bundles and the freight and the sackfuls are full.

Aurelius Theonammon, the present one, agrees with me as it is presented. Aurelius Helladios of Julian wrote to you concerning him letters not to be seen.

I have measured and loaded from you onto the aforementioned ship, for the produce of the 15th indiction, thirty-five artabas of clean wheat, total 35 artabas only, including the charges for handling, freight, and sack-carrying, fully paid. Year 47, 16th (indiction), Mesore 3. Aurelius Theonammon, the aforementioned, agrees with me as stated above. I, Aurelius Helladius, son of Julianus, wrote on his behalf, as he does not know letters.
