Asclepiades, the general and priest of the royal secretary, from Heracleus Mencheus, mother of Tathatos, and of Ptolidos Amoi, mother of Thaesios, both from the village of Talaw, priests of the greatest god Heracles. Regarding the matter submitted for examination, the nature of the individual case from the year, of which there is a copy: the undersigned, unblemished sons of priests and sacred nations, having approached in the thirteenth year of Hadrian, the lord Caesar, beyond the deadline, the inscription was written. Therefore, let it be examined whether they are subject to their ranks from public or external sources, and who they are, usually judged by the arch-prophet, and the financial matters received from him are transmitted; below the province of Talaw, priests of the greatest god Heracles.
