In the second year of the Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Augustus, in the city of Oxyrhynchus of Thebaid.
It is acknowledged by Sarapion, son of Adrastus, of Dionysius, mother of Arsinoe, of Theon, from the city of Oxyrhynchus, to his own kinsman brother Theon from the same city, that he has granted to him in the street, from which he has additional records from him into the library of the properties, in the fourth of the current month of Pauni, of the paternal properties that have been assigned to him, from which he has made with his own brother Theon and other kinsmen brothers Dio and Adrasteus and another Dio and Eudaimon and Zoidi, for the Nemesoti and Didymi, through the same memorandum in the thirteenth year of the god Trajan, of the division concerning Taamire of the Thmoisefou toparchy, from the Alexandrian estate, from which they have come into division from the same estate of nineteen arouras, the previous of his estate Zoidi and Nemesoti, as also through the division they have been received, five arouras being of residential and purchased for residence, which the acknowledging party declares to be in one seal and the previous of the paternal grandfather Dionysius, two of which were purchased for residence, which the acknowledging party also declares to be in one seal, the ones on the same land of the agricultural produce from rectangular arouras, seven of these annual crops being from the Sarapion, neighbors of those in one seal of five arouras from the southern part of Apollonius and Kronios of both Adrasteus, and from the part of the public land, north of Demetria, of Diogenes and of Mnisius, southern side, of the aforementioned Demetria and others, of the other two arouras from the southern part of the land, from the part of the public land of the aforementioned Demetria and of his cousin Sarapion, north of the aforementioned Apollonius and Kronios, southern side, the acknowledged side, of the aforementioned Demetria and of the cousin Sarapion, that they may belong to Theon and to those from him who are to be transferred to him as it pertains to seven arouras along with the other properties, and to the benefactors primarily for all time; and from there to be distanced from the acknowledging Sarapion from the brother of Theon the agreed upon for the transfer of the same arouras seven silver of the Augustan currency, four thousand five hundred drachmas from full and let there be no additional writing from the acknowledging party nor any other concerning this transfer in any way, but also it is necessary for him to provide to the brother Theon and to those from him the same arouras seven through all time of firm assurance from all in every assurance and pure from royal and substantial land and from all kinds and from labor and from the soil and from all other things, likewise through all public and of all the previous years until the current and of the current second year of Antoninus Caesar the lord. And if any of these the acknowledging party writes down, let it be void and let him pay to the transferring Theon and to those from him according to what if he writes down the type of damage and penalty of silver drachmas of a thousand and into the public the same and not less than the agreed upon principal be it.
The acknowledgment is valid.
