Translation

We cultivate (the land) so that we may cultivate the same (land) as we sow in the present year, spending on the cultivation into the seeds (of wheat), we demand the gathered (wheat) from the land, and we swear to the Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan Augustus Germanicus that we will do each thing as it is appropriate. Plutias son of Ptolemy and Diogenes Nechthenibios have given and sworn the oath. Bacchios son of Chairemon wrote on behalf of him, not knowing the letters.

"One aroura, so that altogether there are three and a half arouras, which we are sowing in the present third year with wheat, spending per aroura one artaba of wheat for seed. We request that the three and a half artabas of wheat collected be sent through the grain collectors of Senekeleu, which we will deposit into the land, and from the new harvest we will return an equal amount together with the public dues of the land. And we swear by the Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan Augustus Germanicus to do everything as stated. Year 3 of Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan Augustus Germanicus, month Neos Sebastos, day 17."
