my slave Epicharis, who resides in the house
of a certain Nicandros,
at the crossroads of the Chenoboskoi,
and having taken some of Epicharis’s belongings,
I went forth and separated the appropriate memorandum.
And on the 21st of Mecheir,
in the sixth year of Nero Claudius Caesar,
Augustus Germanicus, while I was in a foreign land,
in the same manner, some men have attacked
the indicated house and taken away
the linen shroud of the slave Epicharis, likewise a
thin tunic, another made of rough material,

Previously, certain individuals having violently attacked the house in which my slave Epicharis resides, belonging to a certain Nikanor, located at the Gooseherders' Quarter, and having carried off some of Epicharis' belongings, I came forward and registered the appropriate complaint.
And again, on the twenty-first day of the month Mecheir, in the current sixth year of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Imperator, while I was away from home, certain individuals again violently attacked the aforementioned house and carried off from my slave Epicharis a linen bag, similarly a double cloak, a thin tunic, another made of tow [flax fiber]...
