I voluntarily undertake to lease from the first day of the coming month Thoth of the incoming year 121 (?), of the thirteenth indiction, the exedra belonging to you from the house called [...]arous, located in the same city of Oxyrhynchus, in the quarter of the Agora of the Scythe-makers, complete with all its appurtenances. I will pay you annually as rent twenty-four thousand silver drachmas, and I will necessarily pay the rent without delay, and whenever you wish, I will return the same exedra to you clean. This lease is valid, written simply, and upon being questioned, I have agreed.
