[Σ̣ε̣β̣α̣σ̣[το]ῦ̣ Γ̣ε̣[ρμανικοῦ]
"To the daughter of Thermouthi, from the mother of the one who is from the city of Oxyrhynchus, a Persian of the lineage of Heracles, from Thamounios, Arvichios, who is also of Hierakos, of Alexander, greetings with the lord of his own kin, brother of Diogenes. I agree to pay to your daughter Thermouthi, in two years from the month of the seventh of the year of the Emperor Caesar Domitian, of the August German, forty silver drachmas, which are the amount due to Thermouthi, half of the silver drachmas eighty, which I owe to her father Thoos, according to the written document and the record of the bank, and the interest of these for the time due, twelve other silver drachmas and ten other silver drachmas that I owe her without writing, so that it amounts to sixty-two silver drachmas without any addition. If I do not pay according to what is written, I will pay [the amount] with half and the interest of the overdue time, the amount due, of your action being and to Thermouthi, from me and from all that I have as it is from the law; concerning the matters at hand, I have called upon the bank of Sarapeion in the city of Oxyrhynchus. May the hand of the lord be upon all who are in your favor."
