Since the caretaker of Lord Sophronius is indebted for taxes to Psoios the fugitive who also cultivated her land, do not allow anyone to touch the remainder of his threshing floor nor the grass until her taxes are paid. For I have these things written to you, and if I learn that someone has received anything from him, I will demand all that is owed to her from you at home.

† Since the nurse of the lord Sophronius owes taxes because of Psois, the fugitive, who also cultivated her land, do not permit anyone to touch the remainder of his threshing-floor nor the grass until she has paid her taxes. For I have written these instructions specifically to you, and if I learn that anyone has taken anything from it, I will hold you personally responsible from your own resources for everything owed to her by him.
† Deliver to John, the assistant, from Eudaemon.
