To Petosiris, village scribe of Oxyrhynchus, from Sarapion, village chief of the same place. Andronikos, son of Nikarchos, having come along with certain cleruchs (landholders), and Komanos and Indos, to the so-called Lithine water-channel, released (or opened) the irrigation, watering the allotment of one of them, Andronikos, and due to the water [unclear text] it happened that [something] was flooded and damaged and emptied [unclear text] through Jason.
The text is fragmentary and incomplete, making a precise translation difficult. The document appears to be a complaint or report regarding unauthorized irrigation activities causing flooding and damage to land. The exact details of the damage and the resolution are unclear due to the fragmentary nature of the papyrus.
