† In the name of the Lord and Master Jesus Christ our God and Savior, of the most serene Lord Flavius Mauricius Tiberius, the eternal Augustus and Emperor, in the year eighteen, on the third indiction. This is established (*) and they are making for themselves the eternal dissolution willingly and convinced, from one part Aurelius Pachymius, son of Maria Porphyropoulos, and from the other part Aurelius John, also Porphyropoulos, his brother of the same kin, and from another part Aurelia Tarsenia, another sister of theirs, a widow, all from this Panopolis. Of the aforementioned blessed parents of theirs, Pachys and Maria, having completed their life and after their death, they have reasonably initiated discussions with one another concerning the least movable and immovable estate left by them, and through the most precise division made among all of them of their paternal and maternal properties, each one has therefore taken the third part of all the estate left by them, both movable and immovable, from the most valuable to the least valuable kind (*) and of itself. Therefore, having fulfilled all these and having been released from one another, they have requested (*) to make the present dissolution among themselves. Hence, they have come to it willingly and convinced, by which they declare that they have no claim against one another, neither against the heirs of one another, nor successors, nor possessors, neither they, nor their heirs, nor successors, nor possessors shall ever have any share, nor shall they accuse them, nor shall they accuse (*) them, neither in court, nor outside of court, neither for themselves, nor through a third party, nor concerning any of their inheritances, nor concerning any matter, written or unwritten, belonging to the name and the inheritance of their blessed parents, Pachys and Maria, in order that they may be completely released from one another concerning all things, as has been previously declared. John and Tarsenia, his sister of the same kin, do confess (*) that they have no claim against their most desired brother Pachys, nor against his heirs, nor any successors, concerning the property given to him by their aforementioned parents, Pachys and Maria, while they are still living, of the whole house, with all of its rights, situated in the estate of Thinos of the Thinite law, according to the power of the document issued to him (*) of this act, which is also and certainly everywhere presented. But if it seems to them to come to him concerning this, they will provide in word twelve gold coins as a gift. And being common and indivisible among them, the three heirs according to the third part of these two parental properties of theirs, situated in this Panopolis, the area of the holy place, the whole of Kollouthos, and the other parental house of theirs, situated in the same estate of Thinos and Charistion, of one bronze and another of Charistion of iron, until their division; and it shall not be permitted to them nor to their heirs to ever violate this dissolution. But if anyone among them dares to violate this or if anyone else from his side, a third party, shall give the violating part to the remaining part in the word of a fine of twelve gold coins and the expenses for the lawsuit incurred for the confirmation of this dissolution shall be made with this dissolution to be unbreakable forever.
