Flauii Mauricii Tiberii
Augusti et Imperatoris
In the name of the Lord and Master Jesus Christ our God and Savior,
of the most serene kingdom of our Lord Flavius Mauricius Tiberius the eternal
Augustus and Emperor, in the year of the seventeenth
Since the third indiction,
Aurelius Arsenius, son of Callinicus, of Eugenia,
goldsmith from the one providing for himself a signatory and witness of this
eternal transaction, the following signatories are placed here.
This record is made in a simple written assurance to you, Aurelii
Pachymius, Psatus the purple seller, and Mary, sister
of the one who is registered, Arsenius, now having the dwelling
in this city, I sell and acknowledge with my own free will and voluntary decision and pure conscience and unchangeable reasoning and unalterable purpose and unrepentant choice, with a true mind, to all the most complete rightful authority and power,
and eternal possession from now on and for all time and forever.
I swear by the holy and consubstantial Trinity and the victory
and dwelling of the God-protected lords of the world, Flavius Mauricius
Tiberius and Aelia
Constantina of the eternal Augusti and emperors, to have been done for you and recorded in good faith and choice today,
being convinced of my third part of the whole house with three roofs and of all the necessary things,
with all of this justly, being a common part of the same house
for me and Mary and Joanna, another of our sisters according to the remaining
third part, of which having come to us from our paternal inheritance
being situated in this great church of Panopolis; neighbors of the
whole house; a narrow passage to the south; a house of the heirs of the
sunset passage public in which the door is opened; a libation
or whoever may be neighbors everywhere.
