"I have been informed. (of the year)
[Diophanes, general, from] Berenice
of the vine grower and Pachois
guarding in the estate that [is]
around Sevennys. At night
they attacked them with a bandit raid
and they wounded Pachois in such a way that they could not
[with their clubs]
they were unable to gather grapes.
They sent to Sevennys [to the] guards.
When the guards were not found on that day,
they reported to Ptolemy, the chief guard of the village,
who was following him in the estate.
At night, they went to the same estate and gathered grapes.
They were able to escape and Eutychus fled.
[They] attacked Pachois
of whom Eutychus found in the canal
and [they]
Berenice, of the bandits,
having placed the Diophanes."

[Greetings.] (Year...)
To Diophanes, the strategos, from Berenike, [the vineyard keeper], and Pangchoes, [the guards] who were guarding the estate belonging [to us] near Sebennytos. On the night of the 27th leading into the 28th of Pachon, robbers attacked them and wounded Pangchoes so severely that he could not [ - - - ]. They beat him with clubs and abused him violently [ἐπαρῴνησαν]. They also managed to [steal] grapes. On the 28th they sent [word] to Sebennytos to the guards, but not finding the guards there on that day, on the 29th they reported to Ptolemaios, the chief guard of the village, who was accompanied by [ - - - ] in the estate. On the 2nd of Pauni, during the night leading into the 3rd, [the robbers] again entered the same estate and harvested grapes. They also managed to strip Eutychos naked and violently abused Pangchoes again. Eutychos was found [ - - - ] in a canal [ - - - ] his foot and [ - - - ]. Berenike, having reported the attack of the robbers, submitted this to Diophanes through Moschion.
