To our lord and father Nechus, Atraeus and Ma... and Anouphius and Abus and Apollo and Elias and Nilos and Chairemon and all from the village of Eudaimonia. They know that we wish, our lord Nechai, that there is no one upon your father nor since your good fortune we have given the body; but as we make the offering, we provide nothing. No stranger is in our village, but there are two... and no one is able to enter the village or to walk in. And if anyone approaches the house, the best of our children, we do not contradict you; we grant you to act. We will pray for many times to your lordship, to our lord and father Nechus, those in the village of Eudaimonia.

γινώσκειν σε θέλομεν, κύριε ἡμῶν Νέχε, ὅτι οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τοῦ πατρός σου οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τῆς εὐποιίας σου τὸ σῶμα δεδώκαμεν·
ἀλλὰ ὡς ἐνιαυσίως ποιοῦμεν τὸ ἐντάγιον, παρέχομεν οὐδενί.

English Translation

We wish you to know, our lord Neche, that neither in the time of your father nor during your beneficence have we given the body;
but as we annually perform the customary obligation, we provide it to no one else.
No stranger is in our village, but there are two watch-posts, and no one can approach or enter the village on foot.
And if anything troubles the household, our best child, we do not oppose you; do whatever seems good to you.
We wish you good health for many years, our master.
