ὑμῖν ἐπικούς παραχρῆμα τοῖς διαλαληθεῖσι ἀξιοῦμεν κελεῦσαι σοῦ τὸ μεγαλεῖον τὸν πρότερον προνοητὴν τῶν ἡμετέρων πραγμάτων ὡς θρυλλοῦσί τινες παρὰ γνῶμην σοῦ τὸ μεγαλεῖον καὶ πρότερον ἐξεποιήσεν.

Translation

"To our lords, Valentinian and Valens, always Augusti, in the third consulship. We immediately demand that you command the greatness of your previous provision for our affairs, as some whisper contrary to your opinion, your greatness and previously has made a greater provision."

English Translation

"In the consulship (for the third time) of our lords Valentinian and Valens, forever Augusti:
...those auxiliaries given to you immediately according to the things proclaimed(?), we request your greatness to command the former administrator of our affairs—as some people are murmuring contrary to the opinion [...]—your greatness previously [...] made your own.
He replied: the same [...] of the official."
