ἀσθενῶς τὰς ὄψεῖς γεοῦντος ἐν κώμῃ Καρανίδι
Πολυδεύκης ἐν ἁλώνοις τοῖς σὺν ἑτέρῳ ὃν ἀγνόω τὸ ὄνομα
πυροῦ ἐν πεδίᾳ ταλάντου
κώμης τῆς προκειμένης καὶ ντες μου ῥαβδίσαντες οὐκ ὀλίγον πυροῦ. ἐγὼ δὲ ν καὶ γενόμενος ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐνταῦθ’ τῷ ἀρχεφόδῳ τους λοῦκαμω καὶ τοῖς ἴχνεσι κατὰθήσαντες ἐγενόμεθα παρὰ τὸν προδεδηλωμένον καλοκυνθ
αὐτας ἐπὶ παρόντος αὐτοῦ τοῦ δεσπότου καὶ ἄλων μεσειτῶν ἀποκαταστήσαί μοι τὰ ἀπαχθέντα. ἐπεὶ οὖν μέχρι δεῦρο περὶ τούτου οὐ φροντίδα πεποιημένη, δέομαι καὶ ἀξιῶ ἀχθῆναι αὐτούς ἐπὶ σὲ ἵνα δυνηθῶ πρῶτον μὲν τὰ ἀπαχθέντα ἀπολαβεῖν εἶτα καὶ τῆς καθηκούσ{σ}ης ἐκδίκιας τυχεῖν.
