I wish to lease from you for four years, starting from the coming second year of Marcus Opellius Severus Macrinus Caesar our lord, the seven arouras belonging to you near Poimenon from the allotment of Nikostratos, in two plots of land set aside for storage of fodder. In the second year I will pay fifteen artabas of wheat and one hundred drachmas of silver, and in the year of the fixed tax, ten and a half artabas of wheat and eighty drachmas, and for the remaining two years in the same manner. The wheat shall be new, clean, unmixed, without impurities, sifted, measured by the Athenian measure, cleaned and measured by you at the threshing floors of the aforementioned settlement. I will pay the silver in good currency and measure out the wheat in the months Pauni and Epeiph, excluding the genuine grain due to me, the farmer, deducted from the same produce.
