To Isidotus of the friends and to the leader, from Harmius son of Patreios and from the associates of the ibiotaphs and the hierakotaphs of the one in Teby- Hermaios. In the year of the Epagomenoi of our one, Harmius, while washing the purple garments of those in the priesthood, the idols of the ibians and the hierakons, having come to be present, the son of Phanes and Siueris Siuerios and his son, having inflicted upon him many blows, took away the purple cloths of the gods and what he had in garments, so that he might be able to present them to another for the festival of the new year and for the lawful matters occurring from above, with none of us being present to them. The same ones also in the year, having gathered and having invaded us, shook the sanctuary and having plundered silver drachmas. Since therefore we are in danger of leaving the sanctuary, we present this memorandum, so that you may submit it to the strategos and inform him of the whole matter known to you regarding the silver (talents) owed to me from them.

To Isidotos, one of the friends, and to Laarchos, from Harmius son of Phatreus, and from the fellow-members of the ibis-buriers and hawk-buriers of the Hermæum in Tebtynis. On the 5th of the Epagomenal days of the 31st year, while our Harmius was washing the fine linen garments of the idols of ibises and hawks in the temple, the son of Phanesis, Sioueris Siouerios, and his son came upon him, and after inflicting many blows upon him, they took away the fine linen garments of the gods and the clothes he had, so that the celebration of the new year's festival and the customary rites that follow could not be carried out by another, since no one stood up against them on our behalf. Moreover, these same men, in the 30th year, having seized and forcibly entered upon us, shook down the temple and plundered 40 silver drachmas. Since, therefore, we are in danger of abandoning the temple because of them, we submit this memorandum, so that you may forward it to the strategos and report each of the things known to you, concerning the account of the money (talents) that will be due to me from them.
