Aurelius Paesius, son of Sarapammon Silvanus and the village chief of Nagogeus, wishes to voluntarily and freely rent from you for the current year. I wish to deposit ten arouras for the tax of the land, five instead of ten, and likewise for the other four arouras for deposit. I will give five artabas of grain, which is equivalent to the tax of each aroura. I will return the taxes to you at the appropriate time. As for the public and all distributions, I am addressing you who are renting. The lease is valid, which I have also written in duplicate and have confirmed when asked. The magistrates Anicius Paulinus and Ionius Julianus, the most illustrious, have rented as stated. Aurelius Serenus Paesius and I have written this and have written letters on their behalf without their knowledge. The lease of the land of Nagogeus.
