Heracleides acknowledges that he is sixty years old. In the right hand of Lucius Aurelius Poseidonios, the eudemon (who has purchased the market) of the most illustrious city of the Alexandrians, and as he is managing funds through Horion the steward, he has the one who acknowledges Heracleides from Poseidonios to have a capital of sixty-eight silver drachmas, with an interest of one drachma per month for each, and in terms of the produce, two artabas of wheat and one artaba of barley, which Heracleides will also return to Poseidonios in the month of Pauni of the current year without delay, as the transaction with Poseidonios is made from me and from all my possessions, just as it is right. Heracleides, as (he is) sixty years old, in the right hand (of the agreement).

Herakleides acknowledges [about sixty years old, scar on the right foot] to Lucius Aurelius Posidonius, former eutheniarch, former agoranomos, councillor of the most illustrious city of the Alexandrians, and declares through Horion, the caretaker, that he (Herakleides) has received from Posidonius a loan of capital amounting to sixty-eight silver drachmas, with monthly interest of one drachma per mina, and also in kind two artabas of wheat and one artaba of barley, which Herakleides promises to repay necessarily to Posidonius in the month Pauni of the current year without delay, the execution of the payment being enforceable by Posidonius against me and all my possessions according to law.
