To Aelius Aphrodisius, the general,
from Ptolemaios, son of Agēnor of Philiskos,
from the city of Oxyrhynchus, mother of Claudia
Areia, through Hermes the secretary: I wish
to purchase for my daughter Claudia Areia
and as it is being financed from the surplus
concerning the settlement of Artapatus in the
middle toparchy from the land of Seimiou,
the cultivated fields (arouras) 16, of which the neighbors
are everywhere of me and my daughter Claudia Areia,
of the honor of silver (drachmas) Gs,
on which, having been ratified, I will write off
fully on her behalf these things to the public
treasury, and to another simply
we shall not be seized, but it will remain to Claudia
Areia and her descendants and those from her
the lordship.
