To Aurelius Asklepiades, praepositus of the sacred district of the Hermopolite nome,
from Aurelius Panechotes son of Horos, elder from the village of Senomorro of the same nome, greetings.
I acknowledge, swearing by the divine and revered oath of our all-conquering lords, the Augusti,
that I have guaranteed the residence and appearance of Aurelius Patotas son of Horos for the office of komarch (village headman)
of the same village. If he should depart and I fail to present him, I myself will assume responsibility for him,
or else may I be liable to the divine oath and the penalty concerning this matter. Having been questioned, I have acknowledged this.
In the consulship of Septimius Akindynos, the most illustrious prefect of the sacred praetorium, and Poplonius Proculus, the most illustrious, on the 5th of Epeiph.
I, Aurelius Panechotes, the aforementioned, guarantee and will present him as stated above.
I, Aurelius Silvanus, having been requested, wrote on his behalf, as he does not know letters.
