Translation

Greetings from Chairemon son of Polydeukes to Anubion Sarapion, the farmer.
I have rented to you for two years from the present twelfth year of the Emperor Hadrian, from the lord, from the existing properties, in the city of Peri, below from the Attic estate, the fields with two seals, of which from the tax of six dimoiros for each field, twenty silver drachmas for each of the other fields, six similarly for each field, twenty silver drachmas for the wooden storage and the sheepfold.
And for the thirteenth year of the Emperor Hadrian, the lord, for the sowing of wheat, the six dimoiros for wheat, seven artabas, and the other six for each field, six half.
The preceding taxes, the silver tax shall be paid to me in the month of Epip, of the present twelfth year of the Emperor Hadrian, the wheat shall be measured into the public treasury, one for Athena in exchange for one storage, and you shall make measurements for me.
