Pnepheros son of Atretos, whose mother is Tanarautis, and Thenammenes son of Pareitis, whose mother is Thenbotatis, both from the village of Ankyronon, to Naates son of Pareitis, whose mother is [...]etos, from the same village, greetings. We have leased to you for a period of four years, starting from the current 16th year of Severus and Antoninus and Geta, our lords Caesars, the property belonging to us located south of the same village of Ankyronon, previously belonging to our parents, consisting of one-fourth of an aroura (a measure of land), on condition that you cultivate it with all diligence and care without fault, in lieu of rent for the four-year period. After the four-year period, you shall have half of all the produce resulting from it for another four-year period, and we, the landowners, shall have the remaining half, with all expenses borne by you, Naates. It shall not be permitted for us to dismiss you from the lease, nor for you, Naates, to abandon the lease, with all public taxes on the land being our responsibility as landowners. The lease is binding.
