Of the consulship of the Flavii
Of Caesar and Atticus, the most illustrious.
To Aurelius Callinicus, son of Hermes, a councilor of the most illustrious Hermopolis
from Aurelius Taurinus of Pathermuthis from the same city. I wish to voluntarily and arbitrarily lease from you for as long as you wish from the fruits
of the fortunate twelfth indiction, the existing ones concerning the agency of the White Tower
four aruras in seed from geometric measurement, [ ] existing for you from the exchange of Demetrius, his brother, into the seed of
[if] the selections, the tax of the exempt wheat and barley, twenty artaboi, which I will measure for you in the month of Epiphany of each year, pure new
measured in Athenian measure for the harvests of the same village, of all public results being towards you, the landholder.
The lease is valid. And when asked, I agreed. Thoth
Aurelius Taurinus of Pathermuthis, the one mentioned, I will lease as is stated. Aurelius Hermogenes, son of Bessarion
from Hermopolis wrote letters on his behalf without his knowledge.
It was written through me, Hermogenes.
