Apparatus
Aurelius Castor, son of Sarapion's mother, acknowledges from the village of Theoxenides, as of the years of the age of twenty, to Aurelius Anatoleus, a council member of the city of the Arsinoites, through Melanos the proconsul, to have from him the acknowledgment of thirty-six measures of wheat and six measures of barley, of which he will also make the return. Aurelius Castor acknowledges to Aurelius Anatoleus through Melanos the proconsul the thirty-six measures of wheat and six measures of barley in the month of Pauni of the current year of the present indiction in the aforementioned village, without any objection, and upon the request, it shall be made to you by Aurelius Anatoleus through Melanos the proconsul to perform the action.

[Aure]lius Kastor, son of Sarapion, whose mother is [name missing], from the village of Theoxenis, about 58 years old, scar [description missing], acknowledges to Aurelius Anatolius, councillor of the city of the Arsinoites, through Melas the administrator, that he has received from him, the acknowledging party, in the month of Pauni, with an additional half-measure, thirty-six artabas of wheat and six artabas of barley, of which the acknowledging party, Aurelius Kastor, will necessarily make repayment to Aurelius Anatolius through Melas the administrator, the thirty-six artabas of wheat and six artabas of barley, in the month of Pauni of the current year of the present indiction, in the aforementioned village, measured strictly by the four-choenix measure; and upon demand, the right of collection shall belong to you, Aurelius Anatolius, through Melas the administrator.
