To Claudius Areius, general, from Theon, son of Dionysius of Leon, mother Isionis, of the city of the Oxyrhynchus, caretaker of Dionysius Komon. Regarding what has been transmitted to you by the accountant for examination, the type in the year 13 in the volume of the collection, through which it was sought whether the aforementioned Dionysius is from both parents (twelve drachmas) I declare him to be (twelve drachmas) inscribed on the thoroughfare of the Hippodrome, and his father Komon, son of Dionysius of Komon, mother Tiudas of Kointos, inscribed on the same thoroughfare. Likewise, also the father of his mother, Dionysius, who was previously (twelve drachmas) inscribed on the thoroughfare of the Road of Thoerides, has died in the 6th year of Domitian the lord in the superlatives. And I swear by the Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus that thus it is (hand 2?) (of the year) 13 of the Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus.

To Claudius Areius, strategos,
from Theon, son of Dionysios, grandson of Leon, whose mother is Ision, from the city of Oxyrhynchus, guardian of Dionysios, son of Komon:
Regarding the document transmitted to you by the accountant for examination in the 11th year, in volume 2, sheet 50, in which he inquired whether the aforementioned Dionysios is a "twelve-drachma taxpayer" from both parents:
I declare that he is indeed a "twelve-drachma taxpayer," registered in the Hippodrome quarter, and that his father Komon, son of Dionysios, grandson of Komon, whose mother is Tiouda, daughter of Quintus, is likewise registered in the same quarter.
Similarly, his maternal grandfather Dionysios, previously a "twelve-drachma taxpayer," was registered in the Dromos Thoeridos quarter, and he died in the 6th year of our lord Domitian among the public servants.
And I swear by Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus that this is true.
(Second hand:) In the 13th year of Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus.
(Third hand:) From the examination of the 9th year of Domitian, in sheet 17, as being 11 years old, examined in the 13th year.
