Apollonius to his son greetings and health.
I have sent through Thoion of olives (drachmas).
I do not send you messages because I cannot find a safe man and because of the matters I am involved in.
But I am fully in the public affairs and I ask you to come privately; for I care little about you; do not let it be that you will be angry with me for coming to you.
Ammōnios did not wish to accept messages, since he was going into an ambush.
Take care not to lose yourself in the works you have done.
If you are well, greet Apollonius your brother.
If you are well, greet all those in the house.
(Year) 2 of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus.
