in the district of Heracleides of the Arsinoite nomos.
Trophon Akaios acknowledges that (in years)
from the village of Termouthes of the Polemon district to Harpalos Harpalou (in years)
has sold to him the left-footed horse of this kind, which he acknowledges as existing.
He agrees to pay the full price immediately through the hand of a silver house
eighty drachmas and to confirm
that he acknowledges all matters concerning this transaction for the future.
Trophon Akaios has signed that he has sold the horse and will receive the payment as agreed.

Tryphon, son of Akeios, about 60 years old, with a scar on his right foot, from the village of Termouthis in the Polemon division, acknowledges to Harpalos, son of Harpalos, about 30 years old, with a scar on his left wrist, that he has sold to him the female mouse-colored horse belonging to him, described as free from defects, and that he (Tryphon) has received from him (Harpalos) the entire agreed-upon price immediately and in full, from hand to hand, from his own funds, eighty silver drachmas.
