Flavius Julian, most illustrious, and governor of the Antiochians, through Aurelius Phoibammōn, son of Triadelfus, from the village of Aphrodite of the same district, greetings. We have leased to you for as long as the time the lease of the same city, calculated from the fruits, with God willing, of the fifteenth indiction, and of the same, the existing ones to us. The fields of land that are in the district of the village of Phthala, from the sunburnt of the same village, for which you are to place these in whatever you wish, from your own animals and expenses, and to give the tax according to each year, in the case of all the fields of wheat, five artabas of wheat and five artabas of barley, to our measure of tax, and if it should not be, in the dry measure, for the land that will be measured by the rope for each artaba of wheat two and two artabas of barley, the compensation is certain and guaranteed. And having been asked, we have agreed as it is proposed.
