(Report?)
To Aurelius Ammonius, the most distinguished governor of Egypt.
Valerius Sarapodorus, commissioner.
Upon encountering your greatness, from Diogenes of the city of Oxyrhynchus,
having been established and assured, a certain land was reported to be allocated
to the house of the Antinoans, being about the settlement of Sarapion of Chairemon,
of Oxyrhynchus, by various farmers who were found to be demanding
from him the land which he claimed to have been allocated.
My moderation according to the most just of the claims
having occurred to me, therefore, regarding the places and those given by
your greatness, I sent to you the reports of the settlement of Sarapion of Chairemon,
submitted to your greatness to be known through which you commanded
from the report of Diogenes of his claim to make provision for me; but they
(*) asserted against your court and in
the report of the commissioner regarding the governance.

English Translation

(Report?)
To Aurelius Ammonius, the most distinguished prefect [of Egypt ...]
Valerius Sarapodorus, procurator.
Diogenes from the city of Oxyrhynchus having petitioned your greatness [ ... ]
having declared and affirmed that a certain piece of land had been ceded [ ... ]
belonging to the household of the Antinoites, near the hamlet of Sarapion [son of Chairemon ... ]
of Oxyrhynchus, and that it was being occupied by various farmers [ ... ]
and that he himself had been deprived of the land which he claimed had been ceded [ ... ]
my modesty, according to the justice of the claim [ ... ]
Therefore, having gone myself to the places and having examined the documents provided by Diogenes to your greatness [ ... ]
and having had the memoranda presented to me, I summoned [ ... ]
those from the hamlet of Sarapion son of Chairemon who had submitted [ ... ]
the petition made to your greatness in person [ ... ]
to be made known through the things you ordered from the petition of Diogenes [ ... ]
that I should take care of his claim; but they insisted [ ... ]
that they had appealed to the court of you, my lord, and [ ... ]
Report of the procurator to the governorship.
