for him, and also from the transactions of those selling the fish
and from the words of Horion the secretary,
from which all will be made clear to you as
it is necessary
to the appointees
to be informed of the taxes and
not to be taken from the treasury.
These things I do, if you are wronged
by him.

"... hunted [or caught fish] ... still from Thoth(?) ... five-day period ... the fish, carrying the greatest ... the tax or the right time ... and the proof of this is from the fishermen of the village and from those of the ... and fishermen of Dionysias and Berenikis Thesmophoros, who caught the greatest fish for him, and also from the merchants who buy the fish, and from the accounts of Horion the secretary, from which everything will become clear to you, that ... the annual taxes should be fully paid and nothing should be lacking to the treasury. I am doing these things having been wronged by him. Farewell. I, Ptolemaios son of Diodoros, the aforementioned, have submitted this."

Notes on Latin Apparatus

Lines 13-14: "ἐφετείους" should be read as "ἐπετείους" (annual).
Line 16: "ἀδεικηθ[ει]ς" should be read as "ἀδικηθεὶς" (having been wronged).
