For they do not contribute to the monthly distributions made in the village of the grain and silver offerings, but there is also property over which we alone each year draw two hundred drachmas and only these animals make the pastures. And they have never performed the liturgy, fearing those who at times are the village scribes. Therefore, according to necessity, we make a refuge to you and we ask, if it pleases your fortune, to command that they be brought to you and to hear us concerning him, so that we, avenged by your help, may be able to rest on the land and to endure the needs that are imposed upon us, and that Orseus and his brothers may be contributors to the public offerings and perform the appropriate liturgies for them and that we may have equally all of us of the sowing of the revealed land, so that we may be able to give thanks in your own fortune.
