To Aurelia Demetria and Ammonia, as it is being transacted from the city of Hermes, the most illustrious, by Aurelius Sarapion, while he is managing the estate in the village of Magdolon, of the Boukoloi of Hermopolis.
I acknowledge that I have received from you for leasing for a period of four years, calculated from the current month of Mecheir, new in the indiction, the fruits of the fortunate sixth new or of the indiction that you have regarding the same village of Magdolon of the Boukoloi, an olive-palm paradise (*)
which I had previously possessed/ according to the agreed-upon rent between us, in the first year of black olives (*) [one and a half artabas and of date palms (*) and of pressed ones half an artaba and a measure (*) [nine-fold] and another five-fold, and for the following three-year period per year two artabas of olives and one artaba of dried date palms and pressed ones and six talents of silver of the Augustan coinage and the same measures (*) two, which I will return in due time each as they are due and the necessary agricultural service (*)
I will perform from the existing ones there (*) of all things and at the end of the time I will deliver to you the same paradise (*) in the best care, clean from weeds (*) and all the plants flourishing and the walls (*) standing as I received and the silver, of all public dues being due to you the landholder.
