Translation into English

It was delivered by Mathabene Abba of Gora of Markoupoleitis, a servant of her household named Apsalman or if he is called by another name (of denarii), purchased by Mathaath. In the consulship of Fulvius Aemilianus, and of Neouius, of Aquilinus, on the eighth day of the month of November, which is the sixth of the year in Markoupole, during the time of the imposed witnesses. It was delivered and registered by Mathabene Abba of Gora of Markoupoleitis, in the presence of her and for her, signing Aurelius Koza, her brother, a servant of her household named Apsalman, son of Mathseina, as being thirteen years old (more or less), of medium height, with a straight back, under some kind of condition, with pierced ears, goat-eyed, healthy and unblemished; the same servant was purchased for the price of six hundred silver denarii, and the price was brought by the delivered one from the eternal one. She delivered to her the same servant to have, to acquire, to sell, to manage, to use in whatever way she wishes; and she accepts that if anyone claims the same servant or part of him, she will stand to claim the delivered one and to purify and to release the one claiming; but if not, she will pay the price she received and the damage likewise; and if the same servant is disturbed by a sacred illness within the next six months, she will return the delivered price she received, she will take him back. These things are to be kept well and securely, the eternal one asked for them in faith, the delivered one acknowledged in faith with the presence of Koza, her brother. Two counter-scripts were made of these, of which the other will be registered in the public archives here.
