"In order that the most magnificent of your brotherhood may learn how I have ascended to the Latins concerning the marvel, and since I deemed it necessary today with Cyrus Pachymius to write to you so that you may prepare for me a good fishing net, in order that through it I may ascend unhindered by the command of God and gather the gold of the land of the Blemmyes and the honor of the sheep, since they have instructed me not to come and be hindered from bringing the gold and the ship; and I greet you through this letter to my beloved lord and brother Papa, the greatest governor, Helladios, the notary."
